Felicity was brought up in Portadown and Belfast and is a graduate of Nottingham University.   Felicity is a former Tax Inspector, she joined Huston & Co as a partner in 1994. 

As well as her role in the business she holds several public appointments. She was appointed a member of the House of Lords Appointments Commission by the Prime Minister in 2000. This Commission is Responsible for recommending Cross-Bench Peers to the House of Lords. 

Felicity is also a General Commissioner of Income Tax and former Hon Treasurer of Belfast Charitable Society - Clifton House. The Society recently celebrated its 250th Anniversary. In August 2005 Felicity was appointed as the Commissioner for Public Appointments Northern Ireland.  See www.ocpani.gov.uk
